Youtube just got rid of subscription collections. How in the hell are people with a lot of subscriptions supposed to manage through that?! What possible reason could they possibly have for doing this?
I'd love a business/profit motive explination for all the annoying changes they've made in the last few years. I'm not talking about having ads I understand that, I mean progressively making the interface more difficult and less useful.

Well, one of the changes was to basically force everyone to use Google+.
Others were done because most of their traffic comes through mobile devices these days, so they're slowly dumbing down the web site to be in line with what the mobile apps can handle.
