hilarious. if he was a deserter, he seems to have been a singularly unconvincing one to his captors, unless there's more to the story of his captivity than we've hears.

Seems like the Clinton years all over again, when the Republicans and the right-wingers would get worked up over scandal after scandal after scandal. Even when doing so required violating their principles. Travelgate? Right-wingers violated their principles to support government waste and employees over employers. Clinton's wars? Right-wingers became pacifists, even claiming that he started those wars to distract from his other scandals. Thus taking a position that they would normally dismiss as anything from naivete to anti-American treason.

They are doing the same thing with Obama. Solyndra, Benghazi, and now Bowe Bergdahl.
