Why aren't all these rich people clustered in Oklahoma or one of the other low-tax, business-friendly countries/states?

Because they can shelter their income and don't really notice the taxes like the Rocky Mountains don't notice the trillions of tons of sediment that erode away every year.
 
I think what really stands out is that the top 2 or 3 people in that US map have more money than all the other top-in-their-states combined. Most are under 10B. Only 3 are above 20B and the top is 76B...
 
What stood out to me was that Spain . . . Spain! . . . is home to the richest person in Europe. I had no idea Spain was so business friendly.

And then following that guy the next two richest people live in France and Sweden. I thought those two countries were communist hell-holes that all the rich people were fleeing?
