Immigrants can make it here better than any other country!" But, if the country is so racist, why do they want immigrants to come here? Shouldn't they discourage immigration if the country is so racist?

Second, your examples about the the best time in history to be black is true if you are talking about being black in the USA. Legal slavery ended 150 years ago, and explicit Jim Crow ended about 50 years ago. Of course, pointing to someone who did well works both ways. Clearly this is a great time to a white man in the USA, since Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are worth billions.

Your stereotypical examples for Indians and Mexicans provide evidence that there is still racism around. Indians and Mexicans are successful in many areas beside ethnic restaurants, gas stations and 7-11s.

i believe i have consistently said 'yes (and this is the important detail), as far as i am concerned.' there is only one woman i have sex with, so as far as anyone's claims go, they can be whatever they want.

see, this is the point whe re you missed the distinction. THAT decision affects more people than just me. So, it is not at all covered by my previous answer.
I don't really know if it's a decision the judge makes at sentencing, i think they just get turned over to the penal system and a bureaucracy makes the decision based on whatever guidelines they have.
But, if she appeals that decision and ends up before me, i would want to kniw how long she has wanted to be a woman, and what she has done to reach this goal. If it's something that he has no documentation of until sentencing, i might suspect a Corporal Klinger situation.

If, on the other hand, she can produce therapists, consultations, whatever, i might be convinced.
