"Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands" and a street preacher

Ephesians 5:22-25

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her...

The following video of a street preacher reminded me of that Bible passage. The comments for that video seem to be overwhelmingly supporting the preacher. (so far I haven't found any negative comments)

I was surprised how strongly Christians supported his video.

Damn but that preacher is a major pest. Note how his cadence is like that of the guy who runs the nickel toss tent at the carnival. As for woman's place being in the home as a happy helpmeet, we just went through an election where J.D. Vance sounded the call over and over. It's a popular theme with a lot of the MAGA lackeys.
I do wonder how the high-profile woman preachers, many of them conservative, justify their careers in light of the NT proscription against their calling. Bibleworld has its round-abouts, weasel words, and special pleading, so I'm sure the women come up with windy justifications. Some of them (Joyce Meyer, Victoria Osteen) are rolling in cash. There's also Anne Graham Lotz, Billy's daughter, and B D Hyman, an absolute loon, who is Bette's daughter. You could probably google how they address the issue, but I'm not interested enough, and the excuses would no doubt be a bore. Probably none of them preach from I Timothy 2, where women are denied any position of authority in the church and are told to shut their pie holes.
