The McMahon family has fallen quite a deal in the last few months. Son Shane McMahon apparently lost his mind while booking the Royal Rumble. And an affair payoff by Vince McMahon has led to him stepping away. The oddity was, McMahon was such a control freak that it was wondered when or if he'd ever cede control.

Well, he has ceded control to his daughter. Now the interesting thing is McMahon seemed to have cleared house of the NXT developments his son-in-law made. His son-in-law was an ass as a wrestler, making certain he was top star and crushing those under him, but he seemed to have a good eye for developing not only talent skills, but talent PR as well via NXT. And then all of that was suddenly just evaporated. Stephanie McMahon had actually stepped back from the company for a bit as well, could be unrelated to whatever or could be related to the nonsense going on. Oh, the son-in-law is the new interim CEO's husband. So it'll be interesting if he restarts what he was doing and how this all works.

McMahon is a control freak, but he did manage to obliterate every other wrestling territory in the country in the 80s, to the point much else wasn't left. He did well, extremely well. Built a global empire. So where the WWE goes from here, who knows. Wrestling is a fickle business, ridiculous egos, ridiculous work schedules, ridiculous expectations, ridiculous fans. A huge power vacuum just opened up at WWE and power vacuum's in wrestling get filled by just about anything and anyone. Should be interesting.

Wondering how you know any of the above is real and not scripted controversy and choreography as almost all of the rest of pro wrestling is.

Typically even the best Kayfabe is still noticeable Kayfabe. There is WWE on tv and then WWE corporate. Like when they waive or fire talent, not fake (except in Matt Hardy's case back in the Hardy v Edge days).

Lol, sexual metaphors.
