Trump tells NATO to "just take" the Strait of Hormuz.
President Trump on his boutique social media website said:
All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: Number 1, buy from the U.S., we have plenty. And Number 2, build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT. You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us. Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil! President DJT

The US apparently has done the "hard part" and the Strait of Hormuz is a piece of cake... making one wonder why the US hasn't taken it.

I think the anger is actually betraying a bit of intel about how badly things are going. Yes, Iran's military is weakened, but the US has expended a lot to do so, and with the Strait of Hormuz closed and the Red Sea in danger of being impacted, the cost v benefit equation is tilting out of favor. And it appears the Trump Admin didn't anticipate any of this. Delving deeper in to the operation, the US didn't have ANY ground forces in the region to engage in this. One would presume that means it was last second idea or Trump was sold the Brooklyn Bridge.

It makes one wonder, are the rumors that simple? Did Netanyahu make Trump think this would be a piece of cake, so he went along with it like the blithering idiot he is? That Netanyahu used the US's military as cover for their clandestine operations to impose pain on the Iranian theocratic regime? Israel seems to be going along a different plan than the US, a very Israel-centric plan. Trump suggests boots on the ground and Netanyahu was like... "no fucking way!" implying Israel doesn't need the US anymore and Trump is on his own to wage war against an enemy we aren't remotely positioned to wage war with... and Trump pissed on our allies so much, he has left the US ally-less in whatever the plan is now with Iran.

Nevermind Russia likely gave intel to Iran to destroy one of our most important assets that was just sitting there in the open on an airfield in Saudi Arabia.

This is the time Kelly and Mattis were actually important to US security as Trump's circle just got smaller... consisting roughly of Trump and his ass-licking sycophants that shouldn't be in the same time zone as DC, forget have power in it. Trump's pride has been fucked over and he still has access to nuclear weapons. Hopefully he just recoils with his tail between his leg and pretends this all went well.

Ask google to make one for you. It's quite good. I asked for one of Trump blaming Netanyahu for getting him into this Iran kerfuffle and that Netanyahu will be in the doghouse with Zelensky. Of course, you have to describe what you want well enough.

There might be too much time between the "election" and now. I'm still not sold the election is even happening. The GOP is acting like nothing matters because there will be no consequences.
