I don't see a contradiction, there.
It's perfectly rational to hate homosexuality so much that you want people who don't rationally hate homosexuals to suffer for their irrational non-hate, and to aid and abet their suffering by finding ways to siphon money out of their wallet. Because they were probably going to spend the money on Queen, anyway, so why shouldn't some of that money go to you?
