I need a little help with a Zoom predicament.
Last night we had our monthly Secular Web Board Of Directors meeting via Zoom. First time on this new Chromebook. Getting internet off the hotspot on my phone because the cable was out. Seemed to connect just fine using Zoom on Chrome. But no sound. They could hear me but I could not hear them. I fiddled with every available sound setting with no joy. Ran the Zoom sound test. That worked fine. Still no sound from the meeting.
So I switched to the Zoom app instead of getting it through Chrome. Did the same as above with still no sound. Sound test again worked fine. I even plugged headphones into the Chromebook, still nothing. Sound from everything else works fine. It's like the sound isn't being transmitted to me.
I've never hosted a Zoom meeting so I don't know anything about that end of things. Anyone have any ideas?
