Mar-a-Largo raided by FBI?

He has to submit the affidavit by next Friday. How will they stall this time? I guess he'll still say he can't say anything because it'll affect the criminal case.

Oh this is it.

I think this is a critical breaking point.

They are being told by the fruits of their own request granted, to testify.

News clip from MSNBC. No need to watch the whole thing. The first 2 minutes are all you need.

Trump (in his interview with still-hasn't-been-waterboarded-boy) seems to indicate that after declassifying national security documents, he sent them to "wherever."

If we take this as the typical "bragging but still trying to obfuscate" tactic from Trump, it isn't hard to imagine that he "declassified" the documents before he sold them off to our enemies.

Then Miles Taylor, a former Chief of Staff at DHS under Trump, rescues a jumbled, inaccurate movie reference from the host. "What we're talking about is a very different sub-species here."

Zing. Trump is a fucking idiot who probably gave up our national security because...reasons.

Trump doesn't need to be right, he just needs his sycophantic supporters to think he is right. They are the ones that resorted to violence on January 6, 2021. And they'll be the ones bringing a lot more arms next time.

He is more at risk in court, but he already got away with so much in his life and presidency. And remember, he is the plaintiff in this case and can just drop it.

What is truly interesting is that the special master (that was approved by Mr. Trump's legal team) is not buying their bullshit.

He can't just drop the DOJ's case.

And on that, one of his hapless lawyers should tell him his words can be used against him in a court of law. He's admitting to Hannity he deliberately took the documents. And also claiming he declassified them, which wouldn't help him in the case anyway, but which also admits he's a reckless idiotic menace to national security.

"Did you take the money from the bank vault?"

"No, I never did."

"We found the bank's money in your house."

"It wasn't the bank's money. I decided it was my money."

"So you admit you took the money from the bank vault."

"Of course I did--it's my money."

He can't just drop the DOJ's case.
He can drop the Special Master portion of it.

Any lawyer that thinks they can control what comes out of his mouth these days...

I keep visiting the Fox News site in the forlorn hope that I will see some way they are spinning the ongoing Mar-a-Lago revelations. So far, nada. Maybe the story is buried somewhere. I haven't watched their TV stream to see whether they give it any mention. It's hard to believe that most of their viewers are completely unaware of what is going on, but there must be a substantial number who aren't reading or hearing anything at all about it.

That would include most of my coworkers.

...I hate living in Floriduh.

I love Florida. But I'd rather hang out in the everglades with the gators and snakes than with the snakes and predators in the cities.

I had to go to Florida several times for business many year ago. Orlando, Tampa, south around Miami. Forgotten exactly. My first impression of Florida at the time is that it has little lizards and the place smells like pee.

I'd be laughing uncontrollably if it weren't for people like Ashli Babbitt being critically ignorant enough to die for this fool.

This is the rights white knight? Good grief.

Christina Bobb, Trump's lawyer who in her capacity as a lawyer signed in lawyery fashion that Trump had returned all the documents whilst representing Trump as his lawyer and then went on to numerous reich wing networks claiming to be Trump's lawyer in this is now saying she was never Trump's lawyer.

Timestamped at the video were she says that.
