Jack Smith is investigating more GOP voting machine compromising plots.

....
According to a Tuesday morning report from CNN, it appears that special counsel Jack Smith is following new leads and looking into more attempts to breach voting equipment in multiple states by operatives tied to Donald Trump.

With Smith having already filed indictments against the former president in Florida and Washington, D.C., the new reporting opens the prospect that yet another round of indictments may be forthcoming, as well as painting a portrait of an even more wide-ranging conspiracy to steal the 2020 presidential election.

Dang.
I know nothing important about him personally.

But I sure hope he, his family, and his friends are massively protected from violence committed by Trump supporters. Those people are demonstrably violent and easily lead.

"He who can convince you of absurdities can get you to commit atrocities", or something like that. Trump is a case in point.

And, the sad part is he will raise millions from his suckers.

This is likely increasing the chances of someone decided to turn evidence against trump.

It probably won't happen until much later, like after trump stands trial, but I hope he also indicts the people in Congress that were a part of this.

I expect more indictments from the evidence he already has, too. Once the top priority trial is over, count on the unindicted co-conspirators to no longer be “un”.

Former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti told CNN that United States Department of Justice special counsel Jack Smith is likely to file new criminal charges against individuals close to ex-President Donald Trump — and perhaps even Trump himself — so that Trump's 2020 election subversion trial can proceed without delay.

Questions asked of two recent witnesses indicate Smith is focusing on how money raised off baseless claims of voter fraud was used to fund attempts to breach voting equipment in several states won by Joe Biden, according to multiple sources familiar with the ongoing investigation. In both interviews, prosecutors have focused their questions on the role of former Trump lawyer Sidney Powell. According to invoices obtained by CNN, Powell's non-profit, Defending the Republic, hired forensics firms that ultimately accessed voting equipment in four swing states won by Biden: Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Arizona.

Special counsel accuses Trump of daily statements that could prejudice jury pool in election subversion case

Special counsel Jack Smith said in a court filing Tuesday that former President Donald Trump has made “daily extrajudicial statements that threaten to prejudice the jury pool” in the 2020 election subversion case.

The allegation arose in a court fight that remains largely under seal, so additional details are not public. The brief reference to Trump’s statements affecting the jury pool at the Washington, DC, courthouse came in a public filing in the federal criminal case.

Smith’s office has been sparring with Trump’s team over how much of the underlying sealed dispute should be made public.

Prosecutors tried earlier Tuesday to file court documents partially under seal – and partially on the public docket.

But Trump’s team argued that the filings should not be posted to the court’s public docket until they have 14 days to respond – the amount of time set out by default court rules.

Such an assassination might not be a bad thing politically speaking. Very visible atrocities have a way of dragging absurdities into the public eye.
