Laugh all you want, but I'm with the Moms. We're going to root out the woke in the schools and libraries. Slaves? They actually learned job skills and had happy dispositions. Genders? There's TWO, buddy. TWO. God didn't make Adam and Steve. It's time to ask your local school board if -- no, better yet, go to the schools and libraries yourself and look for books like these:

I understand the context. If you like the person it is an okay symbol. If you don't like the person it is a white power symbol. Back in the 70's - 80's we had the Satanic Panic, where nutball christians were spreading fears about everything being 'satanic'. D&D, cartoons, day cares run by Satanists, etc.. Ok, even in the 90's they talked about Pokémon and Harry Potter, but by then they were not getting featured on popular talk shows.
In 20 years will people talk about this era as the 'gay scare' or something like that? Once it is more of a detriment to politicians and not a big ratings pull for media, can our schools and libraries go back to normal, and most people think of this time as being really crazy? People making videos of how their childhood was traumatized by the fears of religious extremists?

Unfortunately for the Human Situation, authoritarian, violent, tribalism is something we're prone towards. It's an instinctive behavior we must be socialized against.
It's part of the reason I don't find Libertarians attractive as leaders. Liberty is all too often feeling free to be dickheads.
