I'm no friend of Giuliani, I totally want him to be held responsible for his actions. But numbers like that seem better suited for either a media campaign about how Giuliani is being mistreated by Biden's justice system, or a law firm bidding ridiculously high to settle for something reasonable.
You don't start your sales pitch for a car by giving the customer the lowest price you prefer to take. You start by doubling it and then negotiating.

It makes me feel good that these women stood up to the personal attorney of a US President and won.

Up until the pandemic, I made it a point to go and vote in person. When the time came, I would head down to my local VFW hall, fill out the ballot, and hand it to the poll workers. Every time I've been met by courteous, professional volunteers doing their civic duty. I had no idea what their political affiliation was, because that was irrelevant. They were doing a service so I figured their intentions must be good.

Now, these people are under threat because of Trump and his goon squad. This time, a couple of them fought back and goddamned right on them for doing so. Take him for every last cent, ladies.

Funny how Biden is spoken of like he acts like Giuliani. Jebus, Giuliani was at one point, appearing to be Presidential material (I was thinking that in the late 90s). 9/11 occurred and he became a king, but then it seems like he was a nothing but an empty facade the entire time.

I think it's called Black Girl Magic. :) Getting that amount in the lawsuit was magic, even though Rudy is probably worth a pittance at this point, they still have something to celebrate. I hope they will receive justice from the other awful people who worked at destroying their lives.
