I think that the war would stop once Russia gives up it's desire to conquer all of Ukraine. Reading in-between lines, I think that Ukraine would give some land if it led to a lasting peace. But I don't think that Russia has any intention of giving up its imperialism. Even Trump sees that now.

Russians understand that we have to take whole Ukraine (or at least everything besides Galicia) but not for the reasons western propaganda tells you.

Putin and russians for that matter did not want even Eastern Ukraine. We considered them a burden. But 8 years of western supported ukro-naz terrorism forced us to take them. Now the war that is being waged by the west forces us to take the whole Ukraine.

Same thing happened with Chechnya. We basically let them be but it resulted in a little haliphate with constant terrorism (supported by the west). So we had to take them back. Georgia is an opposite example. They made a correct decision and refused to be western puppets and we are not invading them. Ukraine is not like that, hence they should be back under our control.
In their 30 years of independence they failed to build a country and turned (with the "help" of the west) to nazi ideology and this is in a country where basically half of the population is pro-russian.
That resulted in civil war.

Whether the House would or even need to take it up is another matter. Trump's tariffs casting recessionary fears have driven down the price of oil and OPEC plans production increases in June which may create a glut.

Last night Ukro-nazi launched at least 105 drones toward different regions in Russia.
I suspect they decided not to attack May 9 Moscow Parade. That is becasue Chinese contacted their handlers in London/Paris/Berlin and told them if something happens on May 9 they should expect China changing their current policy toward conflict in Ukraine. Some say they even implied Chinese troops conducting "training" in Ukraine.

The only way to do this that i can see is to get China a choice: do you want access to western markets and trade; or do you want access to Russia. The only thing that you and I agree on is that Russia isn't going to stop on its own.

Both India and especially China are not interested in West winning over Russia.
So there is really no choice here. Both China and India will choose Russia.
