He was stopped Sunday at the border in Houlton, Maine, while returning from a family vacation.

“They pulled me aside and started questioning me about my past convictions in New Hampshire,” Landry told NBC10 Boston.

Three hours later, the 46-year-old was told he couldn’t come home, despite having a green card and being a legal U.S. resident.

“They denied me re-entry and said, ‘Don’t come back or we will detain you,’ and the only way for me to get back in was to see an immigration judge,” he told NBC10 Boston from New Brunswick.

Marijuana possession 20+ years ago and drove with a suspended 18 years ago. Now the folks in the White House say no entry.

But this is just male bovine excrement. This will never happen... though it is actually happening.

Especially startling to me was Donald Trump's suggestion that the single-engine F-35 be given a 2nd engine. Top designers are now working on implementing this change! I am not an aeronautical engineer but adding a 2nd engine to an airplane on which much more than a TRILLION dollars has already been spent seems a doubtful decision to me.

Look at it, conclude it's impossible. I don't think they'll actually be so stupid as to try to actually do it.

From this Texas news source we learn that Kerr County was well aware of the danger of sudden floods -- they've had similar disasters in the past -- and were well aware of the need for infrastructure improvements, and for a flood warning system. Enter Biden's Infrastructure Improvement programs to the rescue?

Doesn't surprise me at all. The Republicans are far more interested in ensuring that nothing good comes from Democrats than they are at actually running a nation.

Reminds me of something my Auntie said awhile back. She said "wait...does that mean my dad was an illegal immigrant?"

Bit of background: My Auntie is my mom's best friend since they were kids. She was born in England, and was brought here after the war when her parents settled in the US. Grandpa was an RAF flight instructor who trained pilots in Canada and moved to a nice house in a Detroit suburb when the war was over. When my mom's dad (who was also in the war) died unexpectedly, this noble man volunteered to take over any fatherly duties she might need. What with my father's father also dying before I was born, this was the only grandfather I ever knew.

Turns out, there isn't any record of Grandpa officially immigrating (emigrating?) to the US. Grannie? Yes. My Auntie? Yes. Grandpa? Apparently not.

By the Trump administration's "logic," he was an "illegal immigrant," and the citizenship status of my cousins, their children, and grandchildren are all in question.

If there is anything above a moderate risk for tornadoes and NWS issues a tornado watch overnight then I have a weather radio that will wake me up if a warning is issued. A camp should do the same thing for floods if it is in a dangerous flood zone.
