Belgian PM Bart De Wever wants near unanimity (minus Hungary and Slovakia) from EU nations on going forward with using frozen Russian assets to secure much needed loans to Ukraine. The killer twist is Ukraine only has to repay the loan after Russian pays reparations to Ukraine which is estimated to be in excess of $500 billion. So basically kiss the frozen assets goodbye. De Wever wants all to sign on to this in the event it is determined to be illegal after the fact. He doesn't want Belgium left holding the bag.
