Merged Greenland is part of NATO via Denmark

saying he's mad at Norway because they didn't give him the Nobel Prize

Shit for brains doesn't even understand how the prize is given. The one given last year was for works done in 2024. He did nothing of value in 2024. He just lied. If he wanted the peace prize that will be given in 2026, then he should have behaved himself in 2025. If he wants the one to be given in 2027, then he needs to earn it in 2026. He's clearly not on track.
I'm not sure he realizes that there are OTHER Nobel prizes instead of the Peace Prize..Science, Literature, etc. Maybe to resolve the situation and placate the toddler - Have them create a Nobel Prize for Petulance and make him the eternal winner.

From The Basinet Of the President Of The United States said:
Dear Jonas,

Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America. Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway? There are no written documents, it’s only a boat that landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also. I have done more for NATO than any person since its founding, and now, NATO should do something for the United States. The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland. Thank you! President DJT
Insanity exposed.

What did we learn about Trump at Davos

He's still a massive asshole
He's still an idiot
He's still nuts in the head
He's still a pathetic liar

Maybe he'll finally just go with what he should have done weeks or months ago before pissing off the entire western world and freaking out the stock and bond markets? Work with NATO to beef up Greenland security?

Lawrence O'Donnell was right. He's been saying on air for days that Trump will neither buy nor attack Greenland, and half of that is true right now. The other part (buying) is also off the table because of how Europe hates Trump. It is now a visceral hatred that will translate into boycotts of our goods and pressure on heads of states to keep boxing Trump in. At this point our Pres is probably only popular with the mama's boys who dress up in Nazi uniforms.
Trump still talks the talk, because once a roadshow huckster, always a roadshow huckster (I woulda said carney, but I didn't want to appear to throw shade on our friend over the border.) But he got his lunch handed to him today. He fucked around & found out.

This is a good point. Europe is weak, divided, too comfortable, but wealthy and immensely proud. Europe needs to have their ego stroked or they will push back. Trump fucked that up.

I think all of this is a result of Europe letting Russia take Crimea without a fuss. It emboldened evey dictator and imperialist. Trump is absoluetely yhe latter

Does anyone still think the Orange Psychopath has a functioning brain? He's destroying NATO -- perhaps doing the bidding of his puppet-master Vladimir Putin -- by coveting the world's largest island, and doesn't even know the name of the country he wants?? :confused2:

Watch this clip from his speech at Davos. I've set the start-time so you'll need just 20 seconds to hear him say "Iceland" four times.

ETA: I watched Psaki and learn that he called his target "Iceland" FIVE times at Davos. And repeated the error in a White House press conference.

Tom Dans, appointed by Trump to lead the U.S. Arctic Research Commission, along with Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, had been "pushing for a middle ground" on Greenland, while White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller showed a willingness to keep annexation and the potential use of military force on the table, the sources said.
Good to know Vance took the middle ground and was not siding with Miller. At least that's something in a world where all you can hope for is all that is left.

And in the official USA pavilion at Davos, Newsom was denied a fireside chat with Fortune

How weak and pathetic do you have to be to be this scared of a fireside chat?

Newsom could be seen in the room during Trump's speech, later telling reporters, "It was remarkably boring. It was remarkably insignificant. He was never going to invade Greenland. It was never real."
Looks like Gavin watches Lawrence O'Donnell too.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said:
Newsom strikes me as Patrick Bateman meets Sparkle Beach Ken.

And BlackRock CEO and hooverer of single family homes denies the well-heeled of dessert.

ECB President Christine Lagarde walked out of a dinner at the World Economic Forum during a speech critical of Europe by U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick
As did others.
And thus did Larry Fink, inventor of the House Hoover cancel the rest of dinner.

I think Trump dropping the tariff threat is an indicator that Trump's Greenland adventures is over.

My favourite quote from the article:
"But clearly an awful lot of eggs have been broken on the way to making this omelette."

Well put

You are aware Trump changes his mind a lot, right. I imagine NATO promised Trump all the rights in the 1951 treaty agreement Trump doesn't know he has.

Then I started wondering, how is Greenland remotely a national interest? We have massuve ports on the west side of our country for shipping to Asia. We don't need the NW passage. Europe and Asia do.

lol, I remember a time not too long ago when the press and the Whitehouse, in all seriousness, would tell us Biden is just fine, sharp as a tack. Four more years :ROFLMAO:
