Gasoline is entirely on Trump. He has managed to lead the planet to a potential energy crisis through sheer will of stupidity... against even the will of most of his Administration who are now all for it after they were against it. And lets not forget nuisance inflation caused by the damn tariffs.

Data centers and our aging electrical infrastructure is leading to higher energy costs... which really isn't something that can be weighed down on the neck of the GOP. And the housing issue being caused in part by "higher" interest rates which are causing people to hold up on just running out and upgrading their home is more complicated than merely, the people in power are the reason housing is getting so expensive. Just like how sky high egg prices wasn't Biden's fault and how inflation was mainly being driven by the supply shock and the following wage increases that resulted during/after the Pandemic. Oh wait...

Funny how the cost of living anger is always the party not in charge line of attack. I have seen more commercials from Sherrod Brown talking about fucking Data Centers because people pay the electric bill every month. After all the GOP hasn't done, and has allowed for Trump, including the insane amount of crypto grift, it is Data Centers and things cost more that is likely going to make the difference in November. People are stupid!

Trump pal'ing around with Putin, being washed with hundred dollar bills by the billion by the Arabs, and his MAGA fans seem to be completely unaware that any of this is happening.

House panel seeks censure of Rep. Chuck Edwards over conduct toward female staff

The House Ethics Committee recommended that the chamber censure Rep. Chuck Edwards (R-North Carolina) for what it characterized in a report released Monday as “persistent unprofessional and inappropriate conduct” toward two young female staffers.

Edwards has denied any misconduct. His attorneys accused the committee of reaching an “expeditious and unfounded resolution,” and called the recommended censure “extraordinarily harsh.”

“Representative Edwards emphasizes that he has endeavored to comply with all applicable laws regarding his conduct during his time as a Member of Congress and before,” his attorneys wrote in a statement released by the committee. “Once more, he states his sincere regret if his conduct caused any staff member discomfort or was unwelcome.”

According to the report, Edwards provided the two staffers “with lavish and recurrent gifts,” made “comments regarding their appearance and dress,” invited them “to intimate dinners and vacations” and sent notes “regarding his effusive affection.”

The women, the panel found, were “uncomfortable” with his behavior and attempted to communicate that to him but were “put in an untenable position by virtue of his status as their boss.”

Now I learn that several believe that Canada is the enemy. They are convinced that Rump is protecting the US from Canada and that Canada wants to "take over the US."

I wonder how people this stupid can stay alive.
