Does anybody here really think charges are warranted here? We have something stemming from a consensual relationship between two young people who are essentially the same age - one 18 and the other just weeks shy of 18 at the time of the supposed offense.

Prosecuting this guy is certainly not in the interests of justice.

I agree.
I'm really judgey concerning sex with minors. But even I don't think this is a big deal.
