But I can say the same for somebody like Andrea Yates instead of inventing excuses like "postpartum depression" (conveniently an excuse only a woman can use) or "it's her husband's fault anyway".

Well, if the police had killed him in one of their earlier run-ins the woman and children would still be alive today.
