He was 79 with high blood pressure, and his health was deemed too precarious for shoulder surgery.

Yet the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia is getting the full conspiracy theory treatment. For that, the blame starts with a Texas law that allows presiding judges without medical expertise to determine a cause of death and decide whether an autopsy is needed — even without viewing a body.

Add to the mix an ambiguous remark from the Texas millionaire who found the justice dead, a comment from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and speculation from conservative media figures.

Scalia was staying near the Mexican border at a remote Presidio County ranch owned by John Poindexter, who went looking for the justice when he didn't show up for breakfast Saturday morning. He found Scalia dead in his room.

"We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head," Poindexter told the San Antonio Express-News.

Trump seized on the comment, taking it to mean that a pillow had been found over Scalia's face.

I know who did it:

Actually, Poindexter has clarified his statement to say that the pillow was on top of his head, between his head and the headboard.

Why would anyone need to raise such a detail in the first place?

The nutters are loose on the wild wild web, and nuttin you can do to stop them from conspiring. Heck, one of the Bundy Bunch got shot right on FBI film, and the conspiring kicked off as fast as one can tweet... The sad part is that way too many tea baggers et.al. have joined the insanity, and are going click, click, click LIKE on FaceButt showing they are True Patriots.

There are also a number of Poe Activists trolling.

Well, when i find a dead body, the very first thing _I_ look for is where the room's pillows are.
I mean, people are going to wonder if the deceased died happy, like in a pillow fight, or mabe biting the pillow, or maybe snorting down from the interior.

Or if the pillow was folded under his shoulders and he died while reading amputee dwarf Founder's porn.

It's a good move by Obama. If he appoints another sycophantic yes man to the Court, it doesn't even matter if they arrest him for the murder because he can just have his corrupt minions find him not guilty in a 5-4 split decision.

Also, he can manage to get the nomination pushed through quickly, they can also get Clinton off the hook for the treasonous actions of her email stuff, which she's totally going to be arrested for, like, any day now. That means she wouldn't need to drop out of the Presidential race which she'll definitely need to do without this judicial corruption saving her ass.

It would have been a much funnier joke if you'd used your Super Moderator powers to make it appear the poster was maxparrish...

I just don't understand conspiracy theorists. They believe they are "exposing" the full power of the United States government, military, intelligence operations and so on. These people have power. They're insanely clever. They topple foreign regimes, fake moon landings, they poison the world via chem trails, bring down sky scrapers and frame terrorists for it, use fluoride to control our minds, bring us fake Pluto images, control the media, the courts, every one and every thing. But when they fake teens shooting up schools, they re-use the same actresses. When they kill fat, bastard old men in frail health, they leave the pillow on his face.

No person ever has died in their sleep of natural causes with a pillow in close proximity to their head.

When I first heard that Scalia had died at some private party in Texas, I thought Cheney had shot him.

If he was killed the only question is; why did they wait so long?

Here's our plan. We'll kill the guy after 30 influential years on the Court.

That will thwart his tyranny.

It's probably because Obama is looking at the strength of the GOP Presidential candidate field and is frightened about the almost inevitable prospect of President Trump swooping into the White House on some kind of genetically modified unicorn/dragon hybrid and dismantling all the great work he's done in the service of evil.

Anyone know if in Texas a bullet in a vital part counts as one of Natural Causes of death? A help with "passing on?"

Can't we all just admit that in this case, the death panel was right? With his blood pressure and that shoulder, it was the only decision they could possibly make.
