How'd these guys take half of Iraq?

Their opponents were just as incompetent: the Iraqi shia "security forces" that ran at first sight of trouble and left them caches of American weapons as a parting gift.

Hang in there, Abu, you'll do better next time... oh right.

Are you sure? I thought that it was the Iraqi Sunni that ran at the first sign of trouble. Either way, that place is a mess. We should pull out. Come back when they can demonstrate some form of humanity. Maybe in 90 years.

Your timeframe is overly optimistic.

Yeah, that would have been Sunni security forces that ran at first site...leaving their American made/provided weapons behind for their fellow Sunnis, not really giving a shit about their Shia leaders in Baghdad.

I don't know if the Vice program this was shown on is the same one I watched but one of the programs made the point that the IS propaganda videos are scaring the crap out of fighters opposed to them. If you are captured, you will die. Many times in most heinous ways.

Incompetent thinking tends toward violence as the answer to all problems. Both sides have their own pathology of violence. Nobody is using any sense excepting perhaps the refugees who are fleeing this shit, and their lot is terrible...but usually not more terrible than the conflict itself. However stupid one side looks, the other side looks equally stupid...and it can even be armed with nuclear weapons. What is stupid is conflict itself. What is insane is believing that violence will fix things.

Is he alive? I can't tell from the video.
Dead.

I stand corrected. Didn't really bother checking but I'll take your word for it.

My god!!!!

You mean ISIS is comprised of humans?

And some of them are not that highly trained?

Could this possibly be news to a human with a brain?

Did he die because of the rocket hit their "tank"?
I see them saying driver died, but I don't see them mentioning poor Abu.
OK, i see it. He said "I've been shot and then moved for a short while and died"
