Mainstream press outlets are quoting Obama as saying that Trump will honor NATO and EU commitments. I think there needs to be a running thread to help keep track of what he has already reversed on. (Please include links to your contributions.) I'll start:

1. NATO.
2. Minimum wage. <-- Oops
3. Same-sex marriage.
4. Immigration.
5. Immigration back the other way.

Please add others.

ETA: Hadn't notice that the minimum wage reversal was made before the election. I meant to keep it to reversals after the election.

He promised to "drain the swamp" but he's staffing his cabinet and transition team with lobbyists and establishment politicos.

He reverses his reversals, so it's hard to keep track.

Trump is the perfect example of a bullshitter - someone who says something because it sounds good. There is just as good a chance he will reverse his reversal as it is that he actually reversed himself.

Some weeks ago the boss needed a little data-massaging utility. I called it Politician, to much laughter from the people that would use it. I'm regretting that now, I should have called it Trump.

(It's main job is to find certain values in a text file and exchange them.)

No no no...he said it to win. He loves to win. And he plays by the rules. He know the rules are a politician can say anything and not have to do it. They are the rules.

This is very true. If you listen to Trump, you can tell who his last meeting was with. For a supposed tough guy he does seem to avoid any confrontation in person. Also, even his reversals are vague, and at this point I wouldn't believe anything until there's a bill up to actually vote on. Trump's mind is like a game of PLINKO, you never know which way the damn thing is going to go, there's no rhyme or reason to it.

But the average of PLINKO is well defined. And based on what Trump has said in his campaign and what we're seeing as he's filling his cabinet appointments, we know where that average is going.
