I stumbled on a performance I was actually present for.
Kate and Kacey Coppola. Twins who were related to the famous Francis Ford Coppola. They landed on CMT's "Can You Duet" and managed to get a record deal. They also had a publishing deal and co-wrote a song on a George Strait album...which is kinda like winning the country music lottery.
Anyway, when they stopped by the station on their radio tour, our music director at the time asked if they could play their song that George Strait cut..."A House With No Doors." They did. I was sitting just off camera when they played this:
Yep, that's a good tune. Great motivation while exercising. My college roommate used to play that while doing pushups 35 years ago! Then, he would play the Midnight Express Love's Theme (also a great tune) on the B side during sex with his GF . He was kinda predictable. By the way, this is a must see movie for anyone thinking of doing drug smuggling. Just say no!
Just noticed that Harold Faltermeier is listed on the arrangement. He did the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack.
