She yelled "This is my country!" and helpfully pulled the corners of her eyes up to mock Asian eyes so that everyone knows where she stands in all of this.

Not that I would accuse her of being racist. That would be mean!

Also, I apologize for suggesting that racism is a bad thing. Complaining about racism counts as "white genocide" and makes me the real racist here. I am obviously a horrible Social Justice Warrior for thinking there is anything wrong with this sort of behavior.

I think this is the first post on this board about a racist incident not involving a white person that I've seen. Maybe we're making progress...er, I think. Oops, I just noticed that you brought white people into the discussion. Why am I not surprised.

The real racism against Asians that needs to be addressed is systemic racism against Asians by college admission boards and employers who blatantly admit/hire less qualified non-Asian candidates over the Asian applicants. Yet so many think that's not racist, for some reason.

But that doesn't involve a mocking gesture about narrow eyes (shrug). Why do people think we feel self conscious about our beautiful eyes? At least we don't look like bug eyed fish that rolled in flour. ;)

Also, blindfolds are much cheaper for you. Just get some dental floss. But seriously, that is the only joke I know about that. White and black people even shade their eyes to have some of that angle at the edge - and that was before there was even contact with people who had epicanthic folds.

Do we look like Marty Feldman to you?

Actually, I think that when you view a typical white (especially northwestern European) person in profile and compare it to a northeastern Asian person you will see something else.

Northwestern europeans have a much more prominent "cro-mag" browridge that has our eyes more deeply set. Think of the scientist Josiah Willard Gibbs.

The smaller browridge for asians makes the eyes seen more exposed.

Oh no!

Do people criticize racist white people?

That's so unfair!

Hey, you know what else? When people talk about Nazi Germany, no one talks about the horrible things Jews and gypsies did to Germans, they only talk about the bad things the Nazis did to Jews and other minorities because the evil liberal media conspiracy is prejudiced against white people.

I mean sure, those evil Social Justice Warriors say that the reason we mostly complain about the Nazis is because the Nazis had all the power and that Jews and other minorities didn't have enough sociopolitical power to do much damage to anyone, but we all know the real reason, don't we? The Social Justice Warriors are once again persecuting white people with their White Genocide! They only criticize the Nazis when we talk about Nazi Germany because those SJWs are the real racists!!!!!! [/conservolibertarian]

Iranians are white when they do stuff like this, but they automatically become brown when we are talking about the Iran Deal or when they wear a hijab.
Them's the rules of identity politics.

Blah, blah, blah...just more of your usual non-sensical, Nazi this, white genocide that, "conservolibertarian" bullshit. Its very tiresome and old. I do appreciate, however, your concern about Asian racism, as it is rarely discussed and often dismissed. In that spirit, I will add another anti-Asian racist video to bring awareness to the issue:

Close your eyes and you would think that the tour guide was white from her voice and speech pattern.

That was surreal.
