Current Canadian government has been in the headlines often for cowtowing to Islam, particularly radical Islam - paying an Islamic terrorist and traitor $10 million dollars (Canadian), hanging the laws so that terrorists with dual citizenship can't be stripped of the Canadian one etc. And now this:

MALCOLM: Federal jobs program gives funding to hate preacher's group
Toronto Sun said:
Using the politicized Canada Summer Jobs grant, the Trudeau government recently gave funding to a controversial hate preacher who’s the subject of a criminal complaint.
The Islamic Humanitarian Service in Kitchener, Ont., was approved by the Trudeau government to receive the grant in 2018, according to the government’s public registry of approved organizations.
This organization is also in the news this week following its participation in the racist and hateful al-Quds Day rally held on June 9. Al-Quds is an annual march, started by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s radical Mullahs, dedicated to the destruction of the world’s only Jewish country.

Trudeau is simply unbelievable in his self-imposed dhimmitude.

ehum.. how many hateful US (christian or others) priests is free from taxes?

The Toronto Sun is Canada's version of Fox News. Its good for the sports papers and the Sunshine Girl (yes it still has that - usually its a random stripper with a photo with her clothes on and pretending not to be a stripper). The actual "news" in the Toronto Sun is always very suspect.

The Toronto Sun is Canada's Breitbart. Yes, we have wing nuts here too.

Do you two actually have an argument past the genetic fallacy?

Whatever the leanings of Toronto Sun, it is well known that the "Al Quds Day" is organized and funded by the Islamic Theocracy of Iran and that terrorist organization Hezbollah is openly supported while destruction of Israel is called for. Those are well known facts. Do you have any info disputing the claim that this radical cleric is getting a grant from the Trudeau government? If he is, what does it matter if Toronto Sun is the one writing about it?

P.S.: I like strippers. Usually with their clothes off, but still. Another thing we will miss if Islamists and/or radical feminists take over.

I remember the headlines from the late 1880's.

Real Americans submit to the Irish.

Irish gave us whiskey and Guinness. The only drink muzzies promote are Molotov cocktails.

We are talking about the so-called "Al Quds Day", not any "Eid Carnival". By the way, isn't July 2nd horribly late for Eid?

We are not talking about tax exemptions (although I think they should be scrapped for all religions) but a government grant. And "hateful US priests" are boy scouts compared to radical Islamic clerics. Here is some selection from the Quds Day.
Thumbnail_Quds_Toronto.jpg

See the Hezbollah flag? Also antisemitic conspiracy theories that Israelis are not "authentic" Jews.
al-quds.jpg

Calling for destruction of Israel.
Al-Quds-Csillag3.jpg

More Hezbollah flags. And a photo of Ayatollah Khomeini.

If Trump was giving taxpayer money to say Westboro Baptist Church he'd be roundly critcized. So why can't Trudeau be criticized for this? Especially since Sheikh Shafiq Huda and his group is much more radical than WBC and he is basically an agent of a hostile foreign power, namely the Islamic Theocracy of Iran.

They are clearly arguing that your source is not credible. Which a disinterested person would take to mean that in order for them (and others) to take your OP seriously, they need a credible source. So, until you provide a credible source that substantiates the claims in the OP, there is no reason for any disinterested person who wishes to discuss reality-based topics to participate.

They are clearly arguing that your source is not credible.
That's the definition of genetic fallacy - dismissing an argument by attacking the source rather than the claim itself.
By the way, they are arguing that it has a right-wing bias, but most newspapers and other media have a political leaning. That is not a reason to dismiss a source, and they have offered no arguments why it should be considered unreliable. For example, if they could show Toronto Sun publishing false stories, that would be a reason to dismiss it in the future. But they have not done that. That they have photos of strippers or that they have a more rightward leaning is not a reason to dismiss it.

They have not shows that the source is unreliable. However, here is another source for the claim.
Ontario Group Whose Leader Called for “Eradication” of Israelis Receiving Federal Grant
Trudeau government has a long-standing blind spot when it comes to radical Islam, something he has in common with the Left in general.

Saying one is skeptical of a claim because the source is sketchy is not a fallacy. You employ the "genetic fallacy" whenever a lawyer makes a claim you do not like.
If people do not wish to discuss something that they think is probably not true, that is their perogative. Asking for substantiation of a claim is perfectly reasonable in these situations. Since you'd rather blow smoke instead of providing a more credible source, it is reasonable to conclude you have no credible source. They do not need to prove to anyone that the source in question is not credible. They are entitled to their opinions, just like you are.

Of course, people can discuss whatever they like. But no one is compelled to discuss a claim of fact that is insufficiently substantiated to their standards as accurate.

ETA: The person in question is not the leader but a spokesperson. Big difference. And, as Ziprhead points out, he called for the eradication of Zionism not Isreal. Big difference.

From researching the Islamic Humanitarian Service of Kitchener, Ont., it seems they do a helluva lot of good for the community. The worst I can find about them is one of the sheikhs being smeared by B'nai Brith Canda claiming he called for the “'eradication' of Israelis." Their own source they use clearly shows the sheikh calling for the "eradication of Zionism".

So you are joining B'nai Brith in smearing what appears to be good people, them lying about what they say, and you smearing them with images of protesters unrelated to their organization.

i only see antizionism here. not antijudaism. (antisemitism is a misnomer since palestinians (and arabs) are semits)

Difference being Kitchener is not the Toronto thing Doug Ford spoke out against. And Canada is not Iran.

Ah, but it will be...according to bigot Derec ("muzzies"...really?)

He had to start this thread, since the other one ("Europe Submits Voluntarily") has proven conclusively that once you let the swarthy people in, you become an Islamic state. I mean, look at Europe! It's a caliphate ruled with an iron fist by ayatollahs! And to think...we were all warned...

You only like the Irish because they are not recent immigrants.

But your ilk called them evil terrorists that were going to destroy civilization as we know it not very long ago.

If you want to know what you are look at the people who screamed and raged about the immigration of the Irish.

It's good that this thread exists. If there's one thing that Canada needs, it's right wing American bigots telling us how to run our society and what scary groups of foreigners we should be afraid of.

Yeah, we already have scary right wing American bigot foreigners to be afraid of. That's enough thanks.

It's Manziel in Hamilton. You need to fear that! Masoli's performance is going to make him crack... again.

I am not a bigot. Neither am I right wing. But for some reason right-wing Islamists and left-wing "progressives" like Trudeau are quite chummy together. Go figure.

BS, like everything else you write. Radical Islam is a real threat to Western societies.
