Mueller indicts Roger Stone, says he was coordinating with Trump officials about WikiLeaks' stolen emails

It's weird that a decent and upstanding man like Donald Trump who led such a by-the-books campaign just randomly and coincidentally happens to have had so many people associated with him thrown into prison for reasons that are completely unrelated to him.

It's pretty obvious "Organisation-1" is Wikileaks, just like "Individual-1" is Trump. Is this trolling or some legislative requirement forbidding the Mueller investigation from actively naming tertiary participants before the trials commence?

So everybody is up to speed with Roger Stone and his revised gag order? Basically, he can't mention a word about the upcoming proceedings. If he comments at all about the case, he's basically setting himself up to be crucified.

Now if it were me and I was summoned to court to explain my actions then given a very clear final warning, I would think about being as inconspicuous as possible and not deliberately antagonize the people who decide what my future might look like. Instead Stone had an interview with Vox where:

“Mr. Cohen’s testimony is entirely untrue,” Stone wrote Wednesday in an emailed response to VICE News.

Stone’s denial came despite a gag order in his case issued by Judge Amy Berman Jackson last week, who barred him from speaking “publicly about the investigation or the case or any of the participants in the investigation or the case. Period.”

...and then decided that wasn't enough so he's going ahead with a smear book on Mueller that somehow slipped his mind will soon be released? Him and his lot truly don't give a fuck about the law. I hope he spends the rest of his life in a prison run by Joe Arpaio. He's one of the few people who appears to deserve such a sentence.

Agreed, but as I pointed out previously, ALL of this is Stone’s way of trying to hide the fact that he’s turned state’s evidence. IMO.

Iow, the more he pushes for contempt and pulls his stunts is a good barometer to measure how badly he’s screwed Trump. You’ll notice that he never says anything of substance. It’s all just a regurgitation of the ludicrous “deep state” narrative (that he likely had a large part in drafting), which is only useful in regard to popular support among the idiot deplorables who no longer matter (and haven’t mattered for a long time now, but most certainly after the massive loss in the midterms).

This is certainly plausible, especially given that we are talking about Roger Stone. The man is all about disinformation. He's as crafty as a fox.

Another Trump staffer found guilty and off to jail

President Donald Trump's former adviser, Roger Stone, has been convicted on seven charges including obstruction, witness tampering and lying to the US Congress.

Good. I hope the sentencing will be harsher than Manafort's but anything is fucking possible in this day and age. So that makes six prominent Trump staffers convicted of crimes and sent to jail (Flynn, Cohen, Manafort, Gates, Papadopoulos and now Stone). Remind me how Clinton is just as bad and this is all a witch hunt.
