A movie adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS

Like the original, a bit on the creepy side.

Have you seen it?
I saw the theatrical one, but I did not think it was creepy. If anything, a little boring...

Saw it in high school. I have never been fond of humans dressed as "animals", it's never quite right. Uncanny valley I suppose.

Also, I don't think Andrew Lloyd Webber understands cats all that well. Or the show would be MUCH more violent.

When my wife and I saw it, we were seated in one of the last rows of the mezzanine, way up there, and to be honest, I was bored most of the time.
This time, I'll wait until the video comes out. I am mostly mildly curious about the use of CGI and the camera angles, but that's about it for me...

I know i have seen it... i remember almost nothing about it. Or even the circumstances of us going....

I remember every time i saw PDQ Bach, who with , what city, where we sat...
CATS? Um... i think we were in the...balcony?
We? Was that my wife i went with or a date before i met her?
As to the plot, i have clearer memories of reading the wiki....

Nothing in the trailer draws me.

Of course it was not so much Webber as TS Eliot. The music was Webber's.

I'm old enough to remember when the musical was new. I never went to see it, because I simply don't like cats. Had it been called dogs, I probably would have seen it by now.

I rather like the live show's recorded sound track, but this movie needed to be animated to be any good. It's not, and so it's won't be. The trailer seems to confirm that prediction.

What are the lyrics to that part of the show? Perhaps :

Cats on the rooftops, cats on the tiles,
Cats with syphilis, cats with piles.
Cats with their aaaaarseholes wreathed in smiles
As they revel in the joys of copulation...
