Polls And Surveys - Trump Will Lose In 2020

Trump will win in a landslide. The majority of voters are turned off by the leftist ideas of socialism and communism. Those policies have failed everywhere. People who know history understand this. But, the younger generation doesn't understand history so they think socialism and communism is great. They have no clue.

The left wants the government to run everything, which is a proven disaster. Government will always mess up. Now Bernie wants to raise taxes to pay for medicare for all. AOC wants to raise taxes for carbon taxes. Americans are sick and tired of raising taxes for nonsense.

These people think medicare for all will fix everything. Sorry, it won't. You have a poor family waiting for surgery and a rich man walks into the hospital, pays the doctor 5,000 cash and he goes to the front of the line. Let's see how much people love medicare for all then.

Even I, a person who believes the left fails to represent what is best for society, knows that what you wrote is a total lie, perpetuated out of the False News Network (not that MSNBC is any better). You have to be willfully ignorant to say that Democrats want socialism.. unless having police and fire departments are socalism.. which they are not.. social programs does not equal "government owns all property and wealth". They are nothing alike and the argument makes us just look stupid. So stop perpetuating the ridiculousness... its like the Left saying that Trump is a Republican Russian Spy. No one is buying it.

My source is straight from Bernie's own mouth! It is not an anecdote IF THE PERSON HIMSELF SAYS IT!

C'mon guys!

While I don't usually agree with Half Life, he's correct this time. Bernie did finally admit during the last debate that taxes would have to be raised on the middle class in order to support M for All.

At this point, though, I still have to ask if Halfie can even find a way to cite this fact. He has never, ever been able to show he even understands what a 'cite' would be. Or why it's important. Or why no one would be willing to accept 'I saw it one time on the TV' from him.

NEVER count the Orange Hate-Scrotum out. Also, it's too damn early to know what this flip-flopping, veering, weaving, dodging, lurching country is going to do in 15 months. The only thing I think is predictable is that the GOP's CCY (campaign cave-yawp) is going to be "SOCIALISM!!!!!" And socialism is a word that doesn't have much definitional substance anymore. It just means, 'I don't like it.' Who's to say America isn't still ripe for more demagogic conquest?

Who on the left is stupid enough to think that anyone in their right mind would employ the orange moron - especially as a spy, of all things. His disloyalty and incompetence in all pursuits is legend.
Of course he's not a Russian spy - he's a Russian puppet. And he barely has the intellect of a marionette.

yes, that is what I am saying... That is is equally dumb to claim the Democrats want America to be a Socialist Country... or am I wrong? As for Who on that side claims it... several.. NY Magazine and CNN, for example.

Bernie has also proposed a very small tax on stock trades. 0.02% Programmed electronic traders can sometimes make hundreds of trades a day for large sums of money. I note the Republicans have no qualms about sin taxes on beer and wine and alcohol.

Isn't that scary? The man who wants to give power back to the people wants to raise taxes on the middle class. I thought he was all about punishing the 1% to be taxed higher so they can pay for everything? Instead, he's punishing the middle class. He really is a sneaky little man.

The stock tax is a stupid idea--those high volume trades are looking for tiny advantage, taxing them will make that unprofitable and thus make a major reduction in transactions, it won't raise anything like what they are envisioning.

Taxes on middle class stock purchasers would be minimal. It would mainly tax the large stock trading firms, and hedge funds that make many computer programmed trades each day. Analysis shows it will not raise the $3 trillion Sanders claimed, instead it will raise only $400 billions. But close the loopholes that allow big corporations to earn billions in profits and pay little or no taxes, and cut back on the massive tax cuts of Trump and Bush that go mostly to the already outrageously wealthy 1% and corporations and we have the start on a balanced budget, and saving social programs that Mitch McConnell wants to cut, to "balance the budget". Anything is better than what the GOP has given us at this point.

Well, I only mentioned it because even a broken clock is right twice a day. So, even Halfy is going to say something true once in awhile. I just wanted to give him credit for his rare truthful remark. ;)

High volume trades is a bullshit art that does little but create inflation. If it makes it unprofitable to make money due to rounding errors, then boo fucking hoo.

Morning Joe had a segment today with the author of a new book, The Immoral Majority. (Forgot his name.) The book details all the moral compromises made by today's Christian Right when they got all Trumpy. This guy claims that some evangelicals have just recently started to question Trump's character. Reason? He's now shouting 'goddamns' at his rallies, as in, "We're gonna hit them so goddamned hard..." So that's the deal breaker? Wonderful. Now awaiting the Revolt of the Home-Schooled.

They're still paying normal income tax on those gains.

I'm in favor of repealing His Flatulence's whole tax measure but I'm not in favor of trying to find as many things to tax as possible. There should only be a few taxes.

Unfortunately, you're throwing out the baby of arbitrage trades in the process.

The Moral Majority is neither.

While his popularity hasn't dropped, despite scandal and stupidity, do you think we are seeing a demoralization among his supporters that may affect turnout?
