I would like someone on this forum to logically explain why white on black crime gets blown up by the media into a racially motivated crime, but black on white crime gets swept under the rug and you barely hear a peep about it. Is that black privilege?

I can hear some of you saying, "Did this black gang beat up this man just because he was white?" The answer is most likely no. But, if the gang was all white and they beat up a black man, there's no doubt all you guys would be saying, "they beat him solely because he's black!!!!"

It's why people like Rachel Dolezal claim they are black even though they are white and Elizabeth Warren claims to be Native American despite being white. It's more of a privilege to identify as a minority.

I grew up thinking (and saying) we were part Cherokee because that's what my great-grandmother told everyone. Until a Mormon married into the family, and the genealogy came back. Mayflower, yes, Cherokee, no.
That's when i stopped thinking or saying any NA heritage.
Note that both times, what i said was because it was what i believed to be true.

Here is what you are missing. If those gang members are identified they will be arrested, charged, and most likely convicted and do hard time. Now, contrast that with what would happen in the exact same circumstances if the man were black, and those beating him were wearing Police uniforms. The only one arrested would be the black man. None of the assailants would be charged or convicted of anything.

Yes, violence like this happens, and it is terrible when it does. But most people trust that justice will be carried out if the assailants are identified. A black person assaulted in a similar manner by white people in authority has no trust that the same justice will be served. In fact, if history serves as his guide, he trusts that the exact opposite will occur.

No one truly claims that the sole purpose of our founders was to give whites a privilege. 18th century educated men didn’t think about race like we do. So no, the country wasn’t founded to establish white privilege. But don’t use that fact to distort our history which clearly has established white privilege at various points. Our founders were not particularly homogeneous people. They were, without exception, White male anglo Saxon Protestants (nominally if not in actual belief). No Jews, no Asians, no Catholics, and certainly no blacks. At various points in our history when others have sought the same benefits that they said was available to all, they fought vehemently to deny them. When Catholics started arriving in droves from Ireland, they were clearly not welcomed, and violently repressed. When Asians first immigrated to the US, they were barely recognized as humans. White privileged clearly continues to this day. I see it in action every day in the southeast. To deny it is just flat out perverse.

Of course they will be arrested! The point is that the mainstream media does not cover this story because it was a gang of Somalian black immigrants beating up a white man. That is the liberal hypocrisy! Black-on-white crime is ignored while white-on-black crime is discussed until the cows come home.

My point is that I do agree that white people do enjoy positions of power and wealth. However, these people are elected to the government by the people! White men in power? Don't vote for white men. It's simple. You can't have people voting for white men and then say, "This country has white privilege!" It's not white men's fault that women don't want to run for office more often. How else do they expect to get elected? It's not white men's fault that blacks or Latinos don't run for office as often as white men do. Blame the other races and women for not running enough.

You're talking about individual people, I'm talking about statistics. Without checking, what race would you say the CEO of McDonald's is? How about Burger King? Popeye's? Applebee's? Pizza Hut?

Also, you're changing the subject. Being able to vote for non-white people doesn't fix white privilege when running for office is something white people can do more easily on average.
