You're not well.

Are you a clinical diagnostician? Any kind of doctor?
I am VERY interested in your pronouncement. Do you mind if I take it from the top?

Trausti, do you disagree that "He has a significant following"?
Is it "unwell", in your opinion, to state that that following was "created from propaganda" (ex. birtherism)
or that "he uses that propaganda to threaten dissenters in his own party"?
Do you consider it "unwell" to opine that "they therefore march in lockstep protecting him from accountability?"

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to get past these first few items, since historically your pronouncements are not worth the electrons that suffered in their making. But in fairness I wanted to give you a chance. If you can explain what is not "well" about Don's post other than that it does not meet with your approval, we could talk about that. Or, if you can answer those simple yes/no questions we can proceed to examine the "wellness" of "The propaganda is so powerful and extensive, using even foreign entities, that citizens cannot make informed decisions", which is a truth that is obvious to all but some deluded FOX News devotees.

Failure to do either (half expected) will be a tacit admission that you are a vacuous troll.

Trick question. American democracy is a brilliant lie to appease the masses.

It's still better than a system of Gulags or Concentration camps.
And more than 50% of voters voted for it. Granted these are the various city and country, redneck hillbilly, rich and poor hicks, the unthinking, slogan shouting, pedestrian or motorized, now also computerized, North American peasantry; wage-slaves and their "Owners", but still better than the camps.
And still better than China. You can not even pull up google on the internet if you are in China.

Agreed. And better than any Muslim country or Hindu country (India), or Buddhist Burma or any other you care to mention outside the "West".
The US women are in a position to make it even better with their vote, but they are too interested in becoming "men", and in loving, screwing, and "marrying" one another to bother about voting in a way that would make the US Trump-free and Trump-proof.
Hope the next election will prove me wrong.

I have to think any women interested in removing the scare quotes from their "marriage" would definitely be motivated to vote against the entire GOP ticket....

if the election of a buffoon like Trump and the subsequent outbreak of even scarier "Orange man bad" delusional insanity doesn't cause you to lose any possible faith you might have had that Democracy is going to produce reasonable outcomes then you're not paying attention.

But since the question was more about whether there would continue to be Democracy than whether delusional asshats voting would produce reasonable outcomes I'm going to vote "no".

How is it possible that in a single sentence you can admit that Trump is bad and in the same sentence declare that it is the people insisting that Trump is bad are delusionally insane?

The delusional insanity clearly lies among those who refuse to admit Trump is bad.

... and I suppose (bizarrely) those like you who think that calling an admittely bad president, "bad," is bad.

Agreed. Trump is just horrible! The media can't be wrong!

Non sequitur. Try again.

... but then I wasn't talking to you... so maybe don't.

The measure of a bad president is not... The media... Nor is it what some nameless person predicted in 2016... Nor is it the value of the DJIA in 2018. None of that blather you posted offers evidence of anything.

The measure of a bad president is not... The media... .
But the measure of a good President is the media. According to Ann Coulter anyway, "if Trump accomplishes anything at all it will be that he finally brings down the stranglehold the media has over this country".

We could potentially look at actual delusional insanity by referencing CoffeeGate, DijonGate, GolfGate, Ben-fucking-ghazi, or the organizing of protests across the country beginning less than a month into his Presidency.

Then we could compare it to a report presented by Robert Mueller suggesting impeachment wasn't a bad idea due to repeated acts of obstruction of justice... or Trump abusing his Presidential Power by strong arming an ally into publicly embarrassing his political opponent... or Trump's anal-receivership position with Putin... or the simplicity of Trump transforming the US from a multi-lateral bridge builder into a unilateral tantrum throwing, blowhard threat making, short-attention-span diplomatic dog with fleas.

We could do that, but it would be a waste, wouldn't it? After all, we all know conservatives love trade wars, subsidies to farmers, foreign despots, and cowering from foreign armies.

I don't think I would go so far to call Donald Trump a genius. But how he handles the media is exactly how Jim Rickards says if you go to 1:24 of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgyzFJP4DsY

The media actually helped him get elected IMO. And they are still helping him out a lot today. They just don't know it.:D

Yeah, the Democrats, despite serious gerrymandering, crushed the GOP in 2018. Won a higher vote percentage than GOP landslide in 2010. But I'm glad you are amused,

I would say one thing, when things started getting heated with the accusation of Quid Pro Quo, the Trump Admin tossed out a tweet disparaging the teenager who is boating around for the environment. It didn't catch.
