Why I don't see Fascism as a failure

You misunderstood me. I said it has a nonviolent essence and intrinsic nature. I said in practice , especially when threatened with the errors of Communism, it is not peaceful in practice.

Well, at least here you have said something of at least a little substance (from a little reading of your other posts). Well since that alt-right mob that attacked the capital, was attacking US Democracy, and not some imagined boogieman called 'communism'; then, if this is fascism, it does seem to be intrinsically violent...

Atheism is enlightenment. Or at least a giant first step towards enlightenment. Atheism frees our minds from slavery, from a lifetime of bowing and scraping before imaginary gods, forever fearful that this god will not deem us worthy of its grace. I choose to live a free man, which is why I am an atheist (and because there is no evidence for the existence of gods outside our mythology). And those Krauts really knew how to put on show! If you take away their really bad stuff and just view their propaganda for what it was, it displays some really good Hollywood production value IMHO. Go to 3:20 this video showing actual footage that took place 90 years ago and it looks like it could have been a directors take for a Star Wars movie set in the future. They had everything there, including statues of golden eagles, the salutes, perfect formations, and the flags. What an entertaining show for everyone!

Watching Matt describe Mussolini and the Fascists looks eerily like TeaParty supporters describe Trump and the GOP.
