Congressman Bennie Thompson, represented by the NAACP, is suing Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and two right wing militia groups for conspiring to forcibly prevent Congress from counting the Electoral College votes on Jan. 6. The district court is currently waiting for Trump and his co-defendants to respond to Thompson’s complaint.

There is apparently no limit to the waiting. And if one should be imposed, that imposition will be appealed. Upon loss of appeal a counter-suit with specious allegations of unjust persecution will be filed, and on and on and on, while Trump continues to bilk his rubes for lawyers' fees.

Meanwhile, I have read that a number of well known, highly regarded law firms have instructed their personnel not to take any phone calls from Trump or anybody representing him.
