I mean we could compare a whole bunch of stuff, like the southern states that said 'screw precaution' and saw higher death tolls (per capita). We could compare the Barrett coming out party with the George Floyd protests regarding masking outdoors in close proximity. Or how the death toll dropped notably in New York when we noticed the pandemic. We could compare these things, but why do that when we can be hyper-partisan, pretend close to a million didn't die, including tens of thousands AFTER the vaccines were made available.

This is worse than arguing someone who thinks Phil Collins Genesis was a better progressive rock band than Peter Gabriel Genesis.

I was just skipping along and happened to get to that one by chance. Saw her stance and thought, this will be interesting.

She blew my expectations out of the water!

Now, I'm not going to judge, but I'm just going to say that if sex is the first thing your mind turns to when you see kids in masks... you might be the person with the problem, not the school board.

I don't see a whole lot of satire in the term.

We have 700,000 dead inside of a very short time. It's contagious, it's lethal, and they're choosing to remain pretty fucking open to being a vector for the disease. So Plague Rat seems terribly appropriate, really.

You are wrong: You are attempting to spin and handwave and thus not address an argument from analogy

A fuller spelling out of the argument goes thus:
Q. 1. should drunk driving be a legal issue? If not, why? If so why?
--because drunk drivers, more often than sober drivers, sometimes cause damages to other people.
Analogous Q. 2: should the non-vaccination of adults (and when a vaccination is approved, available, children) against Covid be a legal issue? If not, why, especially if you answered "yes" to Q. 1? And if so, why?
--because unvaccinated people, more often than vaccinated people, sometimes cause damages to other people.
