Fundie Engineers - Creationists and Islamists

So as I've heard hypothesized before (and driven in part by allowed polygamy), the disenfranchised more likely to lash out from frustration?

Bill Nye Tours The Ark Encounter

    Well, and brainwash gullible children

    Young Earth creationists versus platygaeanists

This was without a doubt one of Paulogia's best videos. It SO succinctly points out their hypocrisy. And it depressing how many people fall for Ken Hams B.S.

Nathaniel Jeanson, AiG head creotard, compares himself to Darwin

They are very vocal minority that are nevertheless working hard to take control of the public education system (Betsy Devos) so young kids can be taught creationism. Vice-president Pence is also a YEC from what I hear...

Nathaniel Jeanson, AiG head creotard, compares himself to Darwin

For those interested, here is a rather nice review of the book by a qualified (evolutionary biologist) grad student: https://evograd.wordpress.com/2017/10/14/reviewing-replacing-darwin-part-1-introduction-and-the-introduction/

Nathaniel Jeanson, AiG head creotard, compares himself to Darwin

It is interesting (and very telling I think) how they are inconsistent with that. Hambone will tell you "the bible is the ultimate authority and all you need" and "If it contradicts the bible, then it is wrong". But then they go to all these lengths to try and prove their myth with science...

Nathaniel Jeanson, AiG head creotard, compares himself to Darwin

I'm not sure if this a laughable or sad. AiG's "Harvard Trained" PhD creotard, who snuck his way through the program in an attempt to claim legitimacy for his YEC viewpoints, has a new book out... "Replacing Darwin...." In this video, he compares himself to a young Darwin (Oh...the hubris!)...

Are we pushing too hard and fast?

Well, had you actually read it, you'd understand why those sources are relevant to my question, but thanks for the snide condescending remark. Move along.

How very Steven Wright-ish of you....

Are we pushing too hard and fast?

As a follow up, one thing that brought this to mind was remembering my reading of "Foundation", in which the fledgling (and expanding) foundation started to bump up against remnants of the older govt and had to be careful not to catch their attention.... (yes, I'm vague here... it's been a LOT...

Are we pushing too hard and fast?

Maybe it's the sources I'm reading (FB, religious blogs), but it seems to me that there is a growing pushback from religious people on attempts to put religion back where it should be... i.e., separation of church and state. Example: don't force Christian prayers at council meetings, FFRF...

Scholar: Bible shouldn't be taken literally

Probably true, he uses them to rile the troops.

Scholar: Bible shouldn't be taken literally

Except that he complained about it in a FB post (that's how I found the article). Or were you being allegorical about his caring????
