Fun With William Lane Craig

The question was...Where in the bible does it support mega billionaires?

Does it actually say what is alleged - support for mega billionaires?

Frequently quoted verses include:
  • Malachi 3:10: "'Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.'" (KJV)[9]
  • Matthew 25:14–30: the Parable of the talents[38]
  • John 10:10: "'I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.'" (KJV)[9]

During the writing of what part of the Bible, did the word “billionaire” or the prefix “mega” exist?
Can you assure us all that nothing Tharmas quoted could possibly construe support for billionaires?
Do religiosity-inspired intellectual contortions ever cease?

ooh, can anyone play "where in the bible"? Because I have a long list of claims that religiots make that are not in the bible.

Who wants to go first? :D

No.
Clearly some people think there are texts in the bible which "support mega billionaires".
I don't think there are.
But I'm willing to consider contrary views.

Good point. ID was created to stuff creationism into the classroom. Now days, there is much less that can be done to hold religion out of school. My daughter's fourth grade class had to a do a bio. My daughter did Cecelia Payne... another student did Jesus. I'm thinking, what sources could you use for Jesus? Outside the gospels there like nothing written about the dude.
Someone should have done Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Bigfoot, Paul Bunyan, Nessie, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Number one is that there even is "the bible." There are lots of different bibles and lots of different translations of different bibles.

Lots of translations? What are the major differences? Although there are thousands of translations written in almost every language of course, does that count?

Besides I can happily use any bible translation that was placed in my hands, which commonly among them would contain the same scriptures, presenting the same gospel message.

The Bible even references books that aren't included in any usual Bible.

I know in the Catholic version of the Bible is says that the rich hate the poor and another verse says the rich think of the poor as just their field to go and take what they want from. Another one, in Ben Sirach would make Karl Marx proud. It says the rich like you while you make them money, threaten you when you falter, then throw you away and act like they don't know you when they don't need you anymore.

It seems that in the Old Testament, whenever Jehovah wants to reward someone for faithfulness, he makes them rich.

Abraham, Joseph, Job, Solomon...
