Good points on having a protein rich (enough) diet to combat muscle loss.

I get nervous about some of the stabilizers (gums, etc) used in most of the protein shakes impacting intestinal health. Also these ingredients are plentiful in almost all ice creams (except Haagen Dazs using healthy lecithin) and salad dressings. Breyer's long ago had commercials about how natural their ice cream was and now it is crap.
 
If I recall direct to consumer marketing was deregulated in the 80's. Reagan? It may not have helped increase the cost of drugs ,but, it sure as hell made watching TV a lot less enjoyable .
 
Hah. I was just on the phone with my financial advisor. I think they should sell it for Shkreli prices. Well, not really. But it is a weird thing standing to profit from a company but also not liking the nature of the profit. I need to get on some of the government insider trading so I can regulate stock prices up and down and know for sure when to buy and sell. Of course to keep my conscience I probably need to stuff my money in coffee cans and move off grid. I hate going through the portfolio and trying to figure out a way to ethically invest. It is much easier to put on the blinkers and plod ahead.

I’m still trying to figure out if there’s a window for shorting DJT.
I strongly suspect that if/when Cheato loses in Nov. the bottom will fall out, and the return could be many-fold times to cost of the premium. I have a few thousand semi-discretionary dollars to risk on it, but can’t shake the feeling that Trump’s rich buddies might prop it up even after he loses, because he will dispute the election.

No, not at all! I mean one might have already doubled or tripled up, but the real opportunity will be when it goes to $0.10 and below. If you’re holding a contract to sell at half of today’s price, it’s a big multiple.
