Do Atheists believe in Heaven?

Christian morality? Is it moral to say "believe X or face eternal damnation, believe in Jesus as your redeemer or suffer eternal torment"
Is a protection racket moral?
"It's a victimless crime, like punching someone in the dark" - Nelson Muntz
Er... I don't think that fits. Being mortal, they still get punched, even if you didn't see them.
If someone gives in to the threat of eternal damnation, even tho it is false, they are still an extortion victum.

It's intentionally absurd; It is deliberately designed to illustrate a very common failure of logic that considers only the perspective of the speaker, and hence leads to an immoral morality.

That's why it is one of my favorite quotes.

Nelson Mandela Muntz is one of my favourite philosophers.

Protection racket fits Chrtianity. Especially the RCC which remaqins dominat sect nuer wise.

Pay to the church and obey or when you die you are screwed.

Like the Capone era Chicago and beer. Different mobs trying to
'convert' bar and restaurant owners to their beer.

The Four Largest Religions in the World While there are around 10,000 distinct religions in the world, over three-quarters of the global population adheres to one of these four – Christianity (31%), Islam (24%), Hinduism (15%), and Buddhism (7%).Jan 12, 2024

From reporting in areas in Africa there is intense competition for Christian and Muslim converts. Billboard advertisements.

When you die, that’s the very definition of being screwed. There is nothing more screwed than that. If you’re dead, whatever “you” were, is no more. It was screwed by death. Promises to make death into something that is NOT being screwed, are made by people trying to make you screwed before death. Which might be the worst screwing you can get outside of actually being dead. Pity people who are screwed to death by the church.

Yeah sure,,ok..

..and If it ain't the church... it's the banks, or the politics, or the Russians, or the Jews, or the Muslims etc & etc...

...so, what if it's you who's not the normal one in a screwed world, going against the nature whereby 'being screwed is the norm?
😊

Depends on the century and the society.
Range of punishments for atheism, from Medieval times into the Reformation: public scourging, confiscation of property (and guess who got it),
imprisonment, torture (not being forced to listen to sermons...worse), garrotting, burning.
