MLB 2026

It is entertaining to watching coaches answer sports reporters' questions.

I wish there some old school coaches who had a personality and some life.

Yogi Berra, Lou Piniella, Billy Martin.

In the NFL.Mike Tomlin and Pete Carrol are gone.

Guardians are pressing hard end of the season. Circumstances make winning the AL Central critical as somehow all the good teams are in the AL East. Cleveland are currently the second best division winner. And the two top teams get a free ride to the Divisional round, where in they could potentially play the second place team in the AL Central. Go Sox... just not too much.

The NL is much more well spread out across all three divisions.

Everyone is hoping for a Milwaukee v Tampa World Series. Ratings would be through the ceiling of the basement!

Guardians are the second best team second seed in the AL. And as a bonus, get either 0.500 Astros or White Sox, while Tampa has to play the best team that isn't Tampa. W00t!

A bit of controversy at Yankee Stadium where a blast from Anthony Volpe looked to be a game-tying home run until a Yankees fan reached over and tried to grab the ball. After much deliberation it was deemed that the ball was not going to be a home run or caught by the outfielder. Only one run scored and Volpe was put on second. Ultimately the game ended 4-3 and the Yankees were eliminated. The fan was ejected.

I think the call was correct as I don't think the ball was going to go over the wall but when will fans learn not to do this shit? I

Guardians face an uphill battle to get to the ALCS. Need to win one more on the road before heading back to Cleveland.

LA Dodgers somehow managed to squeak by and win their NLDS series. The Dodgers are one of the five lowest payrolls for California MLB teams. Can they continue their David v Goliath march and somehow defeat the financial juggernauts out of Lake Michigan bordering Milwaukee.

Learn? They know better. Make them stay after the game and clean up.

Guardians send ALDS to Game Five in Cleveland... where hopefully parking near Playhouse Square won't be overly expensive... to see a show.

Dodgers fall behind to the Brewers. Game 2 is 2:00pm pacific time, not very convenient for those of us with jobs.

Ohtani is playing like he is mortal. Imagine that! Toronto could have used that last World Series!

Brewers force the Dodgers into winning 4 of the next 5 games to move on. Guardians open sluggishly, but get traction and then convincingly take Game One of the ALCS. This extends their winning streak to 4 games in a row, which dates back to *checks notes*, last week.

Apparently if Ohtani doesn't lead the team to a World Series every year, he is a liability. Good ole sports press.

Game Four in Cleveland, highs in the upper 40s. October is an anything goes month for weather in the midwest. In the 80s yesterday (daily record), not so 80s this Saturday. It returns to normal for the rest of the forecasted week.

A Cleveland-Milwaukee series could be rough. Or not.

Another insipid performance by the Dodgers. Has to be said though, Brewers are playing really well.

Dodgers swept by the Brewers. A slight glimmer of hope when the Dodgers took the lead but it didn’t last.

Yanks and Dodgers are out. So, it is a win for baseball fans across America.

Guardians and Rays played mid-40s baseball last night. Had our first freeze overnight. Well, if for some reason there was a Rays fan in attendance at the game, they left cold and happy. Everyone else just left cold.

Today's game is around 4:30 PM. Just after the Browns finish their game against the Ravens about a mile to the north.
