2026 Mid-Term Elections

Why is someone who doesn't live in Michigan so obsessed with a candidate for the Senate in Michigan. Why are so many people obsessed with Muslims when they make up less than 2% of the US population? I'd take Dr. El Sayed any day over any Republican. He's a bright, intelligent person who has done good things in public health. He may have spoken at some radical Muslim group when he was in college, but for fuck's sake, don't we usually change once we reach full adulthood. I hope the Dems win all their elections regardless if they would be my first choice or not.

Anyone with a working brain should be concerned about the movement to establish a Christian theocracy, not a few Muslims in office.
They all clearly prefer Kushner, Vought, Miller, Hegseth, Mike Johnson, Coney Barrett, Kennedy RF, Tubberville, Luna, Burchett, Boebert,….

An educated secular Muslim is still a dirty rotten cousin fucking Muslim. Clearly Christianist assholes and Morons are preferred leaders.

If you mean AES, he is definitely not a secular Muslim. He is a religious Muslim with connections to MB, CAIR and ISNA.

It is also possible to reject and be opposed to both. It sucks that the Democrats are increasingly embracing political Islam.

What makes you think they're not reputable? When I checked Media Bias it said Drop Site News was mostly factual in its reporting. Not stellar, but not known for publishing bullshit, either.
"Mostly factual" means that they still lie.

No it doesn't. It means that they are not scrupulously diligent in their fact checking and that some things being represented as facts are actually allegations or conjectures. It does not mean that they lie.

But their main problem is their far-left bias, especially concerning Israel. Like trying to portray some staffers having connections to Israel (an ally) as something nefarious. Or when they interviewed Hamas leaders in a positive way.
Middle East Eye has put out a video on the Drop Site News report that includes what is apparently photos of the registration documents.
Another anti-Israel source.
There is nothing wrong with working for an allied government, but there are registration requirements.

I look forward to reading your posts on the day it is discovered that a prominent Texas politician has agents of the government of Mexico in key positions on his election staff, that the government of Somalia has a couple of its agents working for Minnesota's Governor and Representatives, that Saudi Arabia has a couple of its agents on the staff of a US Senator from Alaska, that China has its people on the staff of several politicians across the country, and that Türkiye and Qatar have people on the staff of the Mayor of New York City.

I imagine the screaming "That's not fair, it was only supposed to be agents of governments I like that get to do that!!!" will keep several different threads alive.

Foreign agents are influencing the election in Michigan.
You mean all the Islamists donating to AES's campaign?
I would very much prefer if the foreign agents were kept at a distance,
But it's ok for AES to be funded by individuals linked to CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood?
You seem to have an intermittent comprehension problem. Let me say it again: I would very much prefer if the foreign agents were kept at a distance.

"[T]he foreign agents" does not differentiate between the ones from Israel or China or Bulgaria or Russia or South Korea or any other foreign entity. Do you understand that part?

And what the hell is your issue with CAIR?

Things are looking fucking up for the Democrats. National Exit Polling indicates 8+% win in popular vote.

Ossoff crushed whoever they were facing. Ossoff won men. Graham's victory in South Carolina is by a few points which if I was hoping for 53-47, I'd see something like those two results.

Bonus, men turnout in both states, around 45% of voters. That is bad for the GOP.

Collins is out. Polls are getting vindicated. Sen. Marshall might be printing up a resume very shortly. This also looks very bad for Paxton. South / GOP states are showing 45ish% male turnout and if they lose the woman vote by 15 to 20 percent, makes it impossible to comeback from that.

NY Times has 71% for Democrats taking Senate. Of course, 51 isn't enough. But things are looking favorable.

New Hampshire goes to Pappas. Democrats have technically only gained two seats up to now (OH, ME), but their wins in Georgia and North Carolina appear to indicate a great day. Florida appears to have been too close.

Texas, Kansas, Iowa to go. Minnesota could still sting the Democrats. And maybe if ICE didn't murder someone there, the GOP could have had very good shot.
