Georgia will now have a black woman governor. The first in the nation.
He is definitely connected. He was leader in MSA (MB connected) during college. He supported Morsi/MB takeover of Egypt in 2012. He took MB money during this campaign and even spoke at the MB-connected ISNA conference.liar. He is not "connected" to the MB.
Unfortunately, she was a horrible mayor. I did vote for her because the alternative was worse, but it's sad that the charismatic, brilliant Stacy Abrams lost when she ran and Keisha won. I guess people are fed up with billionaires, especially the ones with an R after their names. One can only hope that Keisha has gained some important knowledge since she was mayor.Georgia will now have a black woman governor. The first in the nation.
They are an Islamist group connected to MB and Hamas. And what the hell is your issue with CAIR?
NY Times said:The White House disavowed an American-Islamic advocacy organization on Thursday after the group’s director declared that he “was happy to see” Palestinians break out of Gaza on Oct. 7, the day of the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel that killed an estimated 1,200 people and led to the seizure of 240 others as hostages.
A spokesman for President Biden condemned the remarks by Nihad Awad, the national executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who declared in a speech that Palestinians in Gaza “have the right to self-defense” but that Israel “as an occupying power” does not. Mr. Awad said his comments were being misconstrued.
“We condemn these shocking, antisemitic statements in the strongest terms,” said Mr. Biden’s spokesman, Andrew Bates. “The horrific, brutal terrorist attacks committed by Hamas on Oct. 7 were, as President Biden said, ‘abhorrent’ and represent ‘unadulterated evil.’” Mr. Bates added that the atrocities of that day “shock the conscience” and said that “every leader has a responsibility to call out antisemitism wherever it rears its ugly head.”
Muslim Brotherhood did technically win an election, they didn't "takeover". That was the military... who did it twice in a short span.He is definitely connected. Why? It certainly looks like Dems will have a comfortable majority even without him. Dems do not need him and all the problems he brings along. Make no mistake, contrary to scombrid's ignorant claim, AES is not at all secular.Hope it keeps going this way! ( only 8% of the vote is in but so far, so good )
And I so look forward to this being your new hobby horse for the next 6 years. Why? It certainly looks like Dems will have a comfortable majority even without him. The Arabic letter AES signed urged Morsi to purge police and media of non-loyalists. And Morsi did prosecute (or should that be "persecute") people for "insult to Islam" and similar offenses. He was also friendly toward Hamas in Gaza. So, it's a good thing the military restored the status quo ante.Muslim Brotherhood did technically win an election, they didn't "takeover". I mean, it's true. Dems nominated a poor Senate candidate who doesn't think she should be paying her taxes or student loans.@Derec will get his wish with the far left getting an earful about Florida. They'll say but Michigan, but the response will be we could have had both you unpragmatic dumbasses.
Hopefully Rogers can still pull through. 55 seats are enough, so there is no possible upside to Abdulrahman winning. And I so look forward to this being your new hobby horse for the next 6 years.
You have no idea what he will be like is he wins this Senate race. You're just making assumptions based on your feelings toward Muslims. He is a far better choice than his opponent, and he will be one Senator out of 100.Hopefully Rogers can still pull through. 55 seats are enough, so there is no possible upside to Abdulrahman winning. And I so look forward to this being your new hobby horse for the next 6 years.
If he does win, I sure hope he can be ousted 6 years hence.
I am making assumptions based on groups he chose to associate with throughout his adult life, from leading MSA in college to speaking at ISNA this year and taking money from MB and other Islamists. You have no idea what he will be like is he wins this Senate race. Both would be, but AES further normalizes Islamism in the Democratic Party. As if terrorist associate Adam Hamawy in the House wasn't more than enough of a bad thing. He is a far better choice than his opponent, and he will be one Senator out of 100.
