Does anyone here care about this? From what I can tell, it will mostly be an improvement in terms of being able to simultaneously support more devices. I'm probably more concerned with WPA3 than this.

What I really want to know is: what insane committee is naming these things? We went from a to b to c to g to n to ac and now to ax? What's next? 802.11 Vista?

Is there a record somewhere of all the versions between N and AC that got scrapped?
