WASHINGTON DC -- Scores of Trump supporters from protestors on January 6th to lawyers who supported some of them to people who jst like Trump are adorably under the presumption that the newly announced and legally in question $1.8 billion fund for people unfairly treated by the Biden DoJ has any money in it for them. People such as Mark McCloskey, a lawyer who famously aimed weapons at passing by protestors was interested in finding out how to apply for a piece of the fund, having allegedly represent people unfairly prosecuted by the Biden Administration.

The $1.8 billion fund was announced and would be under the control of a board handpicked by the President that would not need to provide any information regarding whom received the money.

In a cute, though predictable manner, Trump supporters, including members of the Proud Boys, think the splurge of over $1.8 billion will go to anyone but those at the top of Trump's pyramid, the very top. The only thing cuter would be these people arriving at Mar o Lago and expecting to be let in simply because of their support (violent) for Trump.

It is uncertain how long these people will leave out hope for a payment from this fund, or even a method to apply for it. After all of the other scams (University, crypto, charity, phone), they have shown remarkable resilience to doubting Trump.

He'll impose a $100 non-refundable application fee.

I had to laugh this morning as Blanche said that even Hunter Biden could apply, as if they are going to give anything to him. On the other hand, it did say anyone falsely arrested by a former president could apply. Trump was a former president, so let's see how that goes. If the Republicans had any balls, they would stop this illegal use of tax payers money, but sadly, they have all been castrated by Trump.

I'm going to apply. I suffered no loss that I can think of - well, maybe I could be richer so does that count?

Absolutely.
I was deprived of appetite, having been sickened by the omnipresence of Trump’s disgusting visage. Definitely worth something north of $77 million.

My butt hurt watching Jan 6th happen. Therefore I am injured by it. We should all apply. Can you imagine what that would do to the application processing?

You think there's an actual application process? They probably already decided the Trump Crime Family and a few bones for show ponies would get the cash money making it look legit. The rest of the "process" is Grok sending people emails, saying sorry.

Meanwhile, I just read that house Republicans are opposing a measure to provide around half as much to allow military retirees to get compensation for injuries without giving up their pension, but gosh darn it even though 1.8b is apparently "not enough" to compensate wealthy white folks for [edit]not even[/edit] being taxed, it's apparently "more than twice over 'too much'" to give to veterans injured by actual bullets and real damage to their health to fight actual wars.
