Yeah it would make people's 720x480 DVD collections take advantage of their high def TVs... if this can be done in real time...

Guess I'm too old. Lost all interest reflex action games, actually most video games individual and group for that matter. Son loves them and he's in his mid-fifties.

I tried to evaluate EPIC's design engine though. Seems a bit old school like stuff I was using on Toaster in the nineties.

Actually EPIC's build approach is a bit like the environment I used while prototyping C-17 flight display in late eighties and early nineties. There, when first parameter is chosen, say airspeed, subsequent design elements rolll up naturally leading to related parameter iterations such as scroll rate, color, attitude, and so forth.
