Religions seem to all have their own forms of ritual debasement. Another reason I said "fuck 'em all" early on in life.
We (or at least I) don't need a fucking religion to tell me that I'm a negligible speck of protoplasm in a huge universe full of wonders. I'm proud and thankful to be just that.
