Funny how kneeling during the anthem to ask cops to stop murdering citizens is a terrible affront resulting in months of heated national debate, but this isn't. It's almost as if all those conservatives and libertarians (who are completely different, they just happen to be making the same arguments using the same catch phrases whenever this topic comes up) know damn well that displays of patriotism aren't what they are upset about.

Because if it was, then I would say that painting swastikas on hundreds of Jewish veteran graves is a much greater affront to their patriotism than kneeling during the anthem to beg for your own life.

If rightists were consistent in their own arguments, they would be much more upset about this than they are about kneeling football players.

Could be a hoax, like that teenager from Israel with all the threat calls to Jewish community centers.

If not, they are showing their power levels too soon.

If this were an isolated incident, I might agree with you, but we've had a sharp rise in bullshit like this ever since the last election. I guess rightists got really happy and excited about winning the election, and their enthusiasm spilled out into defaced Jewish graves and dead Sikhs.

Unlikely, but possible.

Regardless, I'm personally disgusted by anyone who defaces tombstones, and I sincerely hope they catch the people who did this.

Your article headline says Nazis. Your quote talks about their polar opposite. I don't know of any libertarians who would participate in this kind of thing. I can't speak for conservatives, but I'm pretty sure most of them won't do this, as Neocons are mostly Jewish friendly. Leave those Jewish graves alone.
