Should Trump, widely worshiped as the Son of God by pockets of southern white evangelicals, be considered God, like his at-least-half-brother Jesus is?
Many of Trump's detractors assert that Trump is an atheist, and verily, it is hard to impute a lot of religious devotion to someone who sees no deficiency, no trait that is less than divine, in himself.
But perhaps Trump gets a pass here as a "not-an-atheist", or even the honored title of "religious extremist", so fervently does he believe himself to be God?
This is a matter in urgent need of resolution, as many of us would prefer not to have an atheist in the white house, while almost all of us would prefer someone who is not a religious extremist.
I doubt Bonespurs is an atheist. You cannot be an atheist if you believe yourself to be god.
