Anger builds after police shoot assault suspect in Minneapolis

Do you think, in hindsight, that those who protested the Vietnam war were un-American?
A lot of them were, yes. Certainly those on the radical fringes of the anti-war movement who supported communist, Maoist etc. ideologies.

<sigh>

But burning a flag is speech, and it speaks loud and clear what those burning the flag in protest think about the country for which it stands.
To quote a certain someone from another thread - Are you a mind reader?

Protest flag burning is constitutionally protected because it is speech. If it is speech then it is saying something. No mind reading necessary.

It may be legally "speech" but it does not automatically say that the protester is anti-American as you admitted in your earlier post when you allowed that not all Vietnam protesters who burned flags were anti-American.

"How do we know what we think we know in Clark shooting story?"

Good read.

An abuse victim denies being abused. No surprise.

Looks like somebody from #BLM got to her by February because that's very different than what she was saying during the initial interview on 11/15/15.

Doesn't take BLM. For abuse victims to recant their allegations against their abuser is extremely common.

Update in the Jamar Clark case:
Jamar Clark death: No police disciplinary proceedings
BBC said:
Police say an internal probe found the officers were justified in using force against Jamar Clark last November.
In March police said officers would not be charged over his death.
An attorney for Mr Clark's family has said they are "anguished and frustrated" that the policemen will not face discipline proceedings.
[..]
Minneapolis police chief Janee Harteau told a news conference on Friday that the two policemen did not violate any police policy and their use of deadly force was warranted.
"I have concluded these officers did not dictate the outcome of this incident. This was an outcome no one wanted," she was quoted by the Minneapolis Star Tribune‎ as saying.
Ms Harteau said she could say "with absolute certainty" that she supported the actions of the two officers, who have been named in US media as Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze.
Of course, the family is still intending to sue.
Civil Lawsuit Expected in Jamar Clark Case
What would this lawsuit be based on? Three decisions (local DA, DOJ and now the police department) went against them already. Any evidence whatsoever, or merely emotional/racist appeals to the city council to settle or a jury to disregard evidence and award them a lot of money? If this was a cartoon, you could see the family and their lawyers having dollar signs for eyes.

After looking at the videos Ifrom the Jamar case I am amazed that there isnt a bigger fuzz about this. It is totally clear that the police was the reason why he is dead. He really didnt do shit before he was attacked from behind by the police. WTF! There and then it was a severe misconduct from the police.

The clearest video I have seen is from the ambulance--you can clearly see his right hand is in front of his body just before the officer takes him down. After that is out of the frame but this is enough to show that any witness who says he was cuffed behind is wrong. The autopsy also shows no signs of cuffs, it sounds like a crowd of BLM witnesses.

And going for a cops' gun will most likely get you shot even if you did nothing wrong before that.
