Anti-Immigration in the far east

I just learned that the Philippines denies anybody who isn't a native Filipino from owning land there or practicing law or running many other sorts of businesses.

I understand the Japanese make it very difficult for foreigners to come in and get work in Japan, even if you want to immigrate. They don't want non-Japanese.

Why do we never hear about either of these countries taking these positions but constantly hear about western countries not doing enough to encourage immigration? I like immigration.

I am happy my country of Canada is very open to it. I wish other countries were, but I don't know how to encourage it.

Asian countries generally restrict immigration to spouses of locals and those with work contract.

One thing to take into consideration, one word, "population density". Darn it, I meant two words.

The US ranks about 179... not about... the US ranks 179 in population density. Japan is 38th on the globe, the Philippines 39th, South Korea is 23rd. In western Europe, only the Netherlands and Belgium compete with these rankings. Canada is something like 400 out of 320 or so nations (possible rounding error), with only nations like Greenland, Mongolia, and Freedonia (fictional) being lower. Granted, habitable land in Canada is sparse and is limited to the northern US, but still even those areas have room for expansion.

You know after a certain number of times you try people's patience you're only going to get away with it for so long. LordKiran is obviously in great denial about the effects of white imperialism in Asia (and elsewhere). This results in flinging about personal insults and bogus, innumerate sidetracks about how the earth's population goes up when someone crosses an imaginary line on a map.
