Anybody else Looking Forward to the Game if Thrones Season 7 Premiere?

I expect the Night's King will simply be able to take control of Gregor when in range, as he is mostly zombie anyway. Then The Hound, lacking any dragon stone weapons, will have to take him out with fire. Bringing their hatred to a nice, poetic finish.

Since the writers have stated that the person on the throne in the end will make most of us sad, I predict it will be Robbin of the Vale.

I agree but I think that Qyburn's fascination with undead and Cersei's granting Qyburn resources will not just be restricted to a singular undead, Ser Gregor.

Really? Please not Greyjoy then.
Well Cersei gave the guy with the best navy, 20,000 mercenaries. That he is supposed to just continue teaming up with her is silly.

He doesn't have the gold or the backing of the Iron Bank to pay the mercs. I am really kinda digging Cersei as a real leader with real conflicting emotions. Once you get past the fucking her brother part..lol.

Except her children are dead because of her own jealous actions.

Regarding, "real leader," there is a distinction between becoming the highest political champion and being an actual inspiring role model to lead people. I'd say John Snow is a real leader while Cersei is a ruthless individual who holds onto power after being put into an entitled position of opportunity by birthright. If Cersei were not born into nobility she'd be a loathsome no one. At the risk of ruining the thread because of politics, it's like the difference between Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump with the exception of Donald Trump being eye candy. Cersei is so insane, her pregnancy is probably a half undead experiment that she let Qyburn put inside her. She is very easy on the eyes but she's a disgusting person.

No, her children are dead because of fate. Remember Maggie the frog, she predicted it all when Cersei was a young girl. And you have to remember these things are real in Westros...there are dragons and magic everywhere.

The fact she didn't kill Tyrion or Jamie shows she is still human despite all that she has been through. Wouldn't want to get in her way though....

I sort of agreed with your expressed sentiment after her meeting with Tyrion, but later I found out she was just using him. Jamie situation, on the other hand, is far more complex. I don't think we know all the details yet...perhaps they will kill each other like a twisted version of Romeo & Juliet...perhaps she is using him for his legit popularity with the armies and Lannister family...only to backstab him later.

or perhaps she is trapped (as they all are) by the circumstances of the situation. I don't think the Mother of Dragons is fairing any better as she gets entwined in the larger and larger picture. Who do you kill and who do you marry?

Fate?! It was to happen but for reasons that she would end up creating.

Depends on the Westeros metaphysics of whether a prophecy is merely reporting what will happen or actively causing it to happen.
